We're looking for a VP of R&D to drive innovation and lead the development of our platform, revolutionizing philanthropy and giving in Israel. We seek an individual who wants to join an organization that combines fintech with community giving
Key responsibilities:
Daily management of developers
Hands on development in the Ruby On Rails ecosystem
Guide technical strategy and roadmap
Oversee development processes and improve efficiency
Recruit new employees and mentor the engineering team
Stay current with tech trends, particularly in React and Ruby on Rails
Collaborate with other departments to align R&D with business goals
Work closely with VP Product
Requirements:
B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent
7+ years of experience with fullstack web development
2+ years in a leadership role
2+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails or equivalent (Django/ Laravel/ Adonis/ Phoenix)
Experience in developing SaaS applications
